So we finally had the Olympics kick off, while I was already mentally preparing myself for the crazyness all the shut roads would cause, I surprisingly learned that London had turned in to a ghost town. Maybe it’s because everyone is clustering up for the action, or that I have been strongly avoiding the crowds. Either way I need to tourist up a bit - not just because of the once in a life time thing, but because anyone would sooner or later have to admit that it’s a little bit cool having the Games in you hometown.

I wish I was there, if only to have access to better coverage of them. NBC is screwing it up in the US, covering strange random stuff, delaying airings, and repeating stuff. It's so ridiculous I'm considering buying tickets to see the games in Rio in 4 years, just so I can control what I watch and not have to listen to people run their mouths.
